Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose and Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets forth the rules and guidelines for using the Kansova AI platform ("Service"). This policy applies to all users, including free tier users, paid subscribers, and API consumers. By using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP, our Terms of Service, and all applicable laws. Violations may result in account suspension, termination, or legal action.
2. Prohibited Content
You may not use the Service to generate, upload, distribute, or promote content that:
- Depicts sexual content involving minors (CSAM) or any sexually explicit material involving real or realistic depictions of minors;
- Promotes violence, terrorism, or self-harm;
- Is hateful, harassing, or discriminatory based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics;
- Depicts graphic violence, gore, or cruelty without clear educational, journalistic, or artistic context;
- Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others, including copyrights, trademarks, and trade secrets;
- Is defamatory, libelous, or intentionally misleading;
- Contains malware, viruses, or other harmful code;
- Violates any applicable local, state, national, or international law.
3. Intellectual Property Infringement
You may not use the Service to generate content that:
- Reproduces copyrighted characters, logos, or branded products in a way that could cause confusion or dilution;
- Imitates the distinctive style of living artists in a manner that suggests their authorship without permission;
- Uses trademarked names, slogans, or trade dress without authorization;
- Replicates existing photographs, artworks, or designs without transformative purpose.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of AI-generated Outputs does not infringe third-party rights. Kansova AI does not pre-screen Outputs for infringement and assumes no liability for infringing content generated by users.
4. Deepfakes and Synthetic Media
You may not use the Service to create synthetic media ("deepfakes") that:
- Impersonates real individuals without their explicit consent;
- Is intended to deceive, defraud, or manipulate viewers for malicious purposes;
- Depicts real persons in false or compromising situations;
- Is used for political disinformation or election interference.
Limited exceptions apply for clearly labeled satire, parody, artistic expression, and legitimate research, provided such content does not cause harm and includes appropriate disclaimers.
5. Misleading and Deceptive Content
You may not use the Service to create content designed to mislead or deceive others, including:
- Fake news articles, documents, or evidence presented as authentic;
- Fraudulent product images or testimonials;
- Counterfeit currency, identification documents, or official seals;
- Content designed to impersonate organizations or government entities.
6. Non-Consensual Intimate Imagery (NCII)
The creation, distribution, or request for non-consensual intimate imagery is strictly prohibited. This includes any AI-generated content that realistically depicts identifiable individuals in intimate or sexual contexts without their consent. Violations will result in immediate permanent account termination and may be reported to law enforcement.
7. Automated Abuse and Scraping
You may not:
- Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to access or interact with the Service in ways that exceed reasonable human usage patterns;
- Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service without written authorization;
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying AI models, training data, or source code;
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity, security, or performance of the Service;
- Circumvent rate limits, credit quotas, or access controls.
8. Content Moderation
Kansova AI employs a combination of automated filtering and human review to detect and prevent violations of this AUP:
- Automated Filtering: Prompts and Outputs are screened using automated systems for prohibited content categories.
- Human Review: Flagged content may be reviewed by our moderation team. Reports from users are investigated within 24-48 hours.
- Action: Violations may result in content removal, account suspension (temporary or permanent), forfeiture of credits, and reporting to law enforcement where required.
9. User Responsibility
You are solely responsible for:
- All content you generate, upload, or distribute using the Service;
- Ensuring your use of Outputs complies with applicable laws and third-party rights;
- Reviewing and verifying Outputs before use, publication, or distribution;
- Obtaining necessary consents, licenses, and permissions for your use of AI-generated content;
- Any consequences arising from your use of the Service or its Outputs.
10. Reporting Violations
If you encounter content or behavior that violates this AUP, please report it immediately to abuse@kansova.com with relevant details, including timestamps, user IDs, and description of the violation.
11. Appeals
If you believe your account was suspended or terminated in error, you may submit an appeal within 14 days of the action. Appeals should be sent to abuse@kansova.com with your account email, the date of suspension, and a detailed explanation. We aim to respond to appeals within 7 business days.
12. Enforcement
Kansova AI reserves the right to investigate suspected violations and take any action we deem appropriate, including but not limited to:
- Removing prohibited content;
- Suspending or terminating user accounts;
- Forfeiting unused credits;
- Reporting illegal activity to law enforcement authorities;
- Pursuing civil or criminal legal remedies.
We may cooperate with law enforcement and regulatory authorities as required by law.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may revise this AUP from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
